#3.) Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens turned on Sami Zayn on night one and instantly established himself as NXT’s top heel. He won the title on his first attempt and his reign truly felt like something special. He faced some incredible talent and even jumped over to the main roster mid-reign to take on (and defeat) the face of the franchise, John Cena.
When Kevin Owens was around as champion, everything felt important and he feuded with multiple superstars at one time. Though his reign wasn’t anywhere as long as Neville’s, the fact of the matter is that his reign simply felt that much more important.
