Neville, then going by the name “Adrian Neville” really doesn’t get enough love for his NXT Championship reign. At the time, it was the longest reign in NXT history and he defeated the much-hated Bo Dallas for the title in a great ladder match. His reign was a great one, where he took on some of the most impressive up-and-comers in NXT and put on consistently great matches.
Moreover, the payoff of his reign, which was losing to Sami Zayn, still remains one of the greatest moments in NXT history.
