There’s a reason why WWE refers to Asuka as the most dominant champion in NXT history. Not the most dominant female champion, but the most dominant one, period. Her 523-day NXT title reign was second to none, and her undefeated streak certainly made her an invincible figure of sorts in NXT.
She would prove to be NXT’s most valuable commodity and Triple H affectionately referred to her as the anchor of NXT. During her time there, she would even shatter Goldberg’s undefeated streak record, gaining praise from Goldberg himself.
She would never lose the championship and would have a whole string of incredible matches for nearly one and a half years. It’s a reign that will likely never be replicated.
