Everything about Bayley as NXT Women’s Championship felt right. She dethroned Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn I in what was by far one of the greatest Women’s matches in WWE history. It’s still a classic to watch and they truly stole the show. Bayley had the most feel-good NXT title win ever, and once she was champion, she put all the emotions aside and proved to be a strong and fierce champion.
Holding the title for 223 days, she would be the leader of the women’s division, before dropping the title to a very worthy opponent.
