#3.) AJ Styles
This was truly the debut to end all debuts. All through January, there were rumors that WWE had signed AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Shinsuke Nakamura from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Naturally, there was a lot of excitement, especially with regards to Styles and Nakamura.
AJ Styles, who many felt was the best superstar to never wrestle in WWE, would finally make his long-awaited debut at the Royal Rumble 2016, entering at #3 to the most goosebumps-inducing pop in WWE history. The fact that it was in Orlando, a city he had history with, made it all the better.
Though he didn’t win the Rumble, the moment the titantron showed “I am Phenomenal”, the entire arena went unglued.
