5 Greatest Debuts In WWE History

finn balor

#5.) Finn Balor

In NXT or even WWE history, there hasn’t been a main roster call-up more anticipated than that of Finn Balor. In his time at NXT, he proved to be a valuable asset and a larger-than-life character, particularly with his Demon Persona. Naturally, with all the promise, the moment he lost the NXT Championship, fans would hope every week to see Balor debut on the main roster.

Naturally, it was going to happen at one point and they had to wait a few more months until the brand split was reintroduced to finally learn when they can expect him. It was at the draft that Finn Balor was a first-round pick for Monday Night RAW. The excitement was in the air and the night after Battleground 2016, he would finally make his much-anticipated debut, instantly becoming a contender for the newly-announced Universal Championship.

Balor would win a Fatal-4-Way qualifier and then beat Roman Reigns clean in the main event to cement his spot at SummerSlam and make a massive statement. It wasn’t often that we got to see Reigns get pinned clean, but Balor was pushed to the moon on his debut.
