#2.) Turning on Bret Hart
In late 1993, there was a lot of tension between Owen Hart and Bret Hart. However, Bret vowed that he would never fight his own younger brother. However, at Royal Rumble 1994, things had changed, and Bret and Owen teamed up to take on The Quebecers for the Tag Team Championships.
Bret Hart suffered a knee injury during the match (in storyline), making it difficult for him to tag Owen in. Due to the injury, the referee was forced to stop the contest. Owen Hart, sick and tired, ended up kicking his legs from below and attacking his brother, turning heel in the process. It would set up a major WrestleMania match between the two.
