#4.) Joining The New Hart Foundation
After teaming with Yokozuna, Owen Hart’s next partnership would be with The British Bulldog. In 1997, WWE held a tournament to crown the first ever European Champion and the finals would see the two partners Owen and Bulldog face each other in the finals. Bulldog won the contest in one of the best matches of both of their careers, and there was a lot of resentment and jealousy from Owen Hart because of it.
They would compete again, but it would end in an all-out brawl, and Bret Hart, who had freshly turned heel by that point, came out to confront the two and told them about the importance of family. He would unite the two again, and thus, The Hart Foundation would be formed. They would create quite the impact while they were there, and it’s a shame that it ended so abruptly towards the end of 1997. There was just so much untapped potential.
