#1.) vs Diamond Dallas Page – Halloween Havoc 1998
This was a classic face vs face encounter, with DDP claiming that he knew what it took to beat Goldberg. At this point, Goldberg, already the WCW World Champion, had an air of invincibility about him. The match would become an all-time classic, and even though it stupidly ran overtime on PPV, it was shown the next night on free TV, getting great ratings.
DDP hit the Diamond Cutter on Goldberg, coming closer than anyone before him to defeating the icon. However, Goldberg managed to run though DDP at the end, continuing his reign of dominance.
