#3.) NXT Takeover: Philadelphia
There wasn’t as much hype going into this show as there should have been, given the card was quite stacked. Even so, there was a level of excitement, and fans knew that tuning in wouldn’t lead to disappointment. Any high expectations that were there were smashed because every single match on the card delivered in a big way.
The most notable ones included Ember Moon narrowly escaping the clutches of Shayna Baszler to retain her Women’s title, Aleister Black would emerge victorious in an Extreme Rules war against Adam Cole, while Johnny Gargano and Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas would have the match of the year, as they both dug deep in an all-time classic. Andrade would walk out with the title, and Tommaso Ciampa returned from a long layoff to attack Gargano.
