NXT Takeover: Dallas was one of the most exciting ones ever. It was the start of NXT Takeover shows being a part of WrestleMania weekend, and from the very start, it was non-stop action, as the young and hot tag team American Alpha won the NXT Tag Team Championships from The Revival, in what felt like a long time coming.
Austin Aries made his debut, while Asuka silenced an entire arena by dethroning Bayley and kickstarting a 520+ day reign with the NXT Women’s Championship, a title that she would never lose. Shinsuke Nakamura made the most anticipated debut in WWE history, living up to his expectations and beating Sami Zayn, who said farewell to NXT after years.
The main event saw Finn Balor‘s peak as NXT Champion.
