The HeartBreak Kid’s final match as a full-timer performer came at WrestleMania 26, where he took on The Undertaker in a rematch from the prior year’s classic. This time, the stakes were much higher with it being a Streak vs Career match, and they would deservedly main event WrestleMania.
It was another instant classic, with Michaels going all out in his farewell. It was the end of his career, and he never turned back…except once. But that was more out of pressure from WWE for him to perform at Crown Jewel 2018. Naturally, it was a big payday, but Michaels made it very clear that he wouldn’t do that again.
