The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith’s Best Matches

#1.) vs. Bret Hart – SummerSlam 1992

In the finest match and moment of Davey Boy Smith’s career, he headlined SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley Stadium in front over 80,000 people. It’s actually believed to have been the highest-attended WWE show in history until WrestleMania 32 (WrestleMania 3 has had its attendance questioned many times over the past two and a half decades).

He was even accompanied to the ring by then-Boxing Heavyweight Champion Lennox Lewis.

It was a simple, straightforward feud between Brothers-in-law, and the Intercontinental Championship had never been so prestigious. It turned out to be a smashing success, and the two would have an all-time classic, one that ended with Davey Boy Smith winning the Intercontinental Championship and getting the endorsement of  Bret Hart.
