This was by far the most anticipated women’s match in WrestleMania history. It was the first Women’s WrestleMania match under the “Women’s Revolution” banner, and it saw the three horsewomen go up against one another to become the first-ever WWE Women’s Champion (under a new lineage).
It was also the biggest WrestleMania of all time from an attendance-perspective, so the pressure was on Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks to deliver. And they not only delivered, but they had the best match of the night. While fans weren’t thrilled about Charlotte walking out as champion, it was still a great moment for all three women, and this match will be looked back on as a very important one in the timeline of WWE history.
