WrestleMania VI was dubbed as “The Ultimate Challenge” when WWF Champion Hulk Hogan faced Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior in a title vs title match. It was a big box office match, as Hogan and Warrior were clearly the #1 and #2 superstars of the company at the time.
Hogan would end up putting over The Warrior, who won his first (and only) WWF Championship. He got the endorsement from Hogan in front of a rabid crowd, and it was a magical moment, even if it didn’t pay off in the long run.
