#5.) Shawn Michaels vs Diesel – WrestleMania XI
1995 wasn’t a great year by any means nor was WrestleMania XI a great PPV. However, having Lawrence Taylor of all people main event the PPV certainly didn’t seem like a good call, even if he was a famous sports star at the time. Michaels and Diesel actually had a very good, straightforward story that saw Diesel defend the WWE title against the man who he was formerly the bodyguard of – Shawn Michaels.
With Jenny McCarthy by Michaels’ side and Pamela Anderson by Nash’s side, it certainly felt lie a star-studded affair and is still quite an underrated WrestleMania match. It should have gone on last that year.
