#2.) vs. Team USA (‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Goldust, Legion of Doom & Ken Shamrock) – Canadian Stampede 1997
The Hart Foundation in 1997 was one of the most entertaining things going on about WWE. It was Bret Hart’s unique run, where he was a heel in the United States but a babyface in Canada (and the rest of the world, really). The historic match didn’t have a title on the line, but it was all about pride.
As you can imagine, given how star-studded the match was, it turned out to be an absolute banger, with the hometown heroes The Hart Foundation getting the win for Canada. It was a feel-good moment, with Steve Austin getting pinned by Owen Hart, followed by the entire Hart Family coming out to celebrate afterward.
