#5.) The formation
Not many remember this, but Road Dogg and Billy Gunn would be united at the expense of WWE legend The Honky Tonk Man. Road Dogg had come out and told “Rockabilly” that he had a lot more potential than what he was giving off. He knew that both he and Gunn were tired of taking the pin night in and night out, and Rockabilly was given an ultimatum – stay with the Honky Tonk Man or join Road Dogg.
He would end up snatching Honky Tonk Man’s guitar and smashing it over his head, making his allegiance known to the world. It would begin the official formation of The New Age Outlaws, and they would go on to become one of the most popular teams of their era.
