#1.) D-Generation X’s invasion of WCW
In 1998, WCW and WWE were having Nitro and RAW tapings just 19 miles apart from each other. WWE decided to make a rather brave move and try an invasion angle. DX had gone upto the building on a tank and accused WCW of giving out free tickets to fans. They even tried to “free their friends” who were “hostages” in WCW, referring to their old Kliq pals Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.
It’s looked back on as one of the most memorable angles at the time and truly represented the ideology behind DX – “If there are rules, we break em'”.
