Contestants: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, John Cena, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, The Miz and Elias
For some reason, WWE decided to have seven participants inside the Chamber as compared to the usual six. However, it proved to be an interesting match-up regardless. There was no title on the line. The match was to determine Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship opponent at WrestleMania 34.
It would end up being quite the performance and showcase for Braun Strowman. For the first time ever, five contestants would be eliminated in a single match, breaking the previous record of three. Strowman would eliminate every single competitor – all but Roman Reigns. Of course, we knew exactly why that happened, and once again, despite Strowman being hot, Reigns was the one who walked out as the victor, last eliminating Strowman.
