#2.) Retiring Randy Savage – WrestleMania VII
Ultimate Warrior had rejected Sensational Sherri‘s request to grant “Macho Man” Randy Savage a WWF title opportunity. As a result, Savage and Sherri cost him the title at the Royal Rumble to Sgt. Slaughter. It led to a heated rivalry, culminating in a retirement match at WrestleMania VII.
It was a fantastic contest and stole the show that night. Warrior would end up beating and retiring Savage, causing Sherri to turn on him. This led to an emotional Miss Elizabeth jumping into the ring from the audience stands and attacking Sherri. The reunion of Savage and Elizabeth still remains one of the greatest moments in WrestleMania history.
