#2.) vs Bret Hart – King of the Ring 1993
This was the semi-final match in the King of the Ring tournament, and Hart and Hennig would continue to prove the incredible chemistry that they had together. It’s a timeless classic, starting off with a few exchanges as they slowly built up the pace. It was two technicians at their very best, and they had an instant classic that went for nearly 20 minutes.
It was a great story too, because Mr. Perfect almost tried resorting to his old heel tactics. Hart would win with an inside cradle, and just as it looked like Hennig was about to attack Hart, he shook his hand in respect instead.
