#4.) vs Ric Flair – RAW – January 1993
It’s a real surprise that this match isn’t talked about more. It was a “Loser leaves WWE match” between the former WWE Champion Flair and the babyface Mr. Perfect. If you’ve seen the Royal Rumble 1992, Hennig had been by Flair’s side after the match. He associated with Flair after injuries forced him to take a back seat. However, Bobby Heenan would manipulate the two and cause a lot of distrust and an eventual implosion between Flair and Hennig.
Hennig eliminated Flair from the 1993 Royal Rumble, and the fallout would see the culmination of an incredible feud. It was nothing short of intense, and Hennig would get the big rub, dethroning Flair and ending his rather short-lived but impactful WWE tenure.
