#2.) A tale of two Chambers – No Way Out 2009
Edge opened the PPV in Elimination Chamber 2009, defending the WWE title match inside the big steel structure. The biggest shock occurred right at the start, when Edge, the reigning WWE Champion, was eliminated first. He was in disbelief, but his night wouldn’t end there.
Edge would attack Kofi Kingston in the main event Elimination Chamber match (for the World Heavyweight Championship) before he could even enter the ring. He incapacitated Kingston and locked himself inside the Chamber, forcing WWE officials to allow him to take Kingston’s place.
Edge would then go on to have a great performance, walking into the Chamber PPV as WWE Champion, and walking out as World Heavyweight Champion.
