There were and still are a few wrestlers who made us go through the emotional rollercoaster that Eddie Guerrero did. The late, great superstar was one of the best ever at what he did, and there were times we detested him, times we adored him, and times it felt like we stood with him during his battles.
He had such incredible diversity and range as a performer. He could fit into a goofy, comedic role, while also being one of the most serious and intense characters. It definitely helped that through his career, he worked with the very best superstars out there. He made his name in Mexico before jumping ship to the United States. There, he would first make his name in ECW and then as a Cruiserweight sensation in WCW.
It was WWE where he got his biggest break as a bonafide World Champion. He was also a part of the famous “SmackDown Six”, helping build the blue brand and taking it to new heights. He’ll always live in our memory, and we honor him by listing out some of his best moments.
