#2.) vs Shawn Michaels – In Your House: Mind Games 1996
This may be one of the most underrated matches in WWE history. Shawn Michaels was having a run as WWF Champion and putting on show-stealer after show-stealer. This main event with Mankind took it to a whole new level. It was a physical and psychological war, with both competitors desperately digging deep to walk out as WWF Champion.
The two even went through an announce table, a rare spot for its time. It was probably the most brutal WWF match-up of 1996, and Foley and Michaels themselves have expressed their appreciation of one another with regards to this match. The only thing that hampered it was the fact that it ended in a DQ finish after Vader interfered. Sid Vicious and The Undertaker returned as well. While you could argue that it was overbooking, the crowd still lost their minds.
