After Edge lost his rematch to John Cena on RAW for the WWE title, he blamed the special guest referee Mick Foley and attacked him, challenging him to a match at WrestleMania. With Foley being clearly past his prime, you would think that he wouldn’t be able to go with the younger stars, but he proved everyone wrong.
His Hardcore match with Edge was brutal in every way, and he did a great job putting Edge over, as the Rated-R Superstar sent him through a flaming table with one vicious spear. Edge would go on to have a legendary career for the next five years.
