#1.) vs Prince Devitt – Best of Super Juniors 2012
This was a vital match for both competitors. On Day 9 of 11 in the Best of Super Juniors tournament, PAC and Devitt had an all-out war, proving what both were made of. The psychology, the pace and athleticism were all extremely impressive, and it’s believed that William Regal watched this match, influencing him to try and sign both Neville and Devitt to WWE contracts.
Devitt had already won the tournament in 2010, and though he didn’t win in 2012, he would be victorious again in 2013. Had it not been for this match, there’s a high chance we wouldn’t have seen Neville or Finn Balor in WWE.
