Again, this is a case where they have faced off before. Both on television and live events. However, a feud between Mysterio and Almas is vital for the latter’s career. Mysterio went all out in putting over Alberto Del Rio, but it didn’t really work as expected (despite all the accolades he was showered with).
However, Mysterio and Almas proved to have incredible chemistry together, and it could translate into an all-important passing of the torch feud. It would help cement Almas as the next big Latino star, a rub that he could definitely benefit from.
