Was there any other choice? WWE is looking for the man to replace Roman Reigns at the top of the mountain, and there’s really no better option than Seth Rollins himself. It’s been clear for a while that he can be a superstar that the company centers itself around, but he’s mostly been the second (or third) most pushed star.
Either way, he’s been out of the world title picture for far too long, and in 2019, it seems certain that he’s going to have a run on the top. A Rumble win would likely set him up for a date with Brock Lesnar at the grandest stage of them all.
