#3.) 1992 – Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Sid Justice

When fans say that the 1992 Royal Rumble is the greatest of its kind, it’s really hard to argue against it. From the star power to the storytelling to the masterclass commentary of Bobby Heenan, there really hasn’t been a Rumble like it since. One of the funny moments of this was the fact that Randy Savage accidentally jumped over the top rope and onto the ground, effectively eliminating himself.

However, WWE had to change the rules in the last second and basically explain that the competitor must be thrown out of the ring to be eliminated. Either way, the star-studded final four featured the four legends and a career-defining performance from Flair. The Nature Boy wound up lasting for an hour, eliminating 5 superstars.

After Justice eliminated Hogan, the ego of the multi-time world champion saw him distract Sid, allowing Flair to eliminate him and win. Flair managed to weasel his way into a victory, while the crowd booed Hogan and cheered Justice at the end of the show.
