#5.) Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre

This may come as a surprise on this list, but the unexpected pairing turned out to be quite a success. After Drew McIntyre lost the NXT Championship in November 2017, he was out with injury and returned directly to the main roster. It was when Dolph Ziggler returned to RAW in the Superstar Shakeup that he brought The Scottish Psychopath with him.

It was a pairing that worked wonders and next thing you know, they were RAW Tag Team Champions. They quietly ended their partnership in November 2018 after 7 months together, and then a breakup angle happened, with the payoff on RAW.

Either way, it was a good storyline and they genuinely felt like a force to be reckoned with, thanks mostly in part to the redeemed McIntyre.
