2018 has been an eventful year in WWE. The company saw a lot of changes and from a financial standpoint, signed new deals that’s going to make them more money than ever. They’re in a very interesting position. They don’t have to worry too much about live event attendance and ratings as much anymore, primarily because of the money they’re making from TV and other deals.
Things are going to change even more next year, but looking back at 2018, it’s incredible to think of the structural changes and where different characters and different superstars are now. Superstars who were floundering in creative limbo now find themselves as main eventers while others who were main eventers may not be in the same position anymore.
We’ve seen a whole lot of shocks and surprises but these five undoubtedly take the cake.
