1. 2013 Faux Retirement
Everything about this, from the raw emotion it elicited from the audience to the salmon-colored suit that Mark Henry was wearing, this segment was perfect.
They were in Mark Henry’s Hometown for Monday Night Raw and Mark interrupted then WWE champion John Cena and announced that he would be retiring. With an entire arena thanking him and chanting his name, Mark then dropped with the World’s Strongest Slam and the entire arena turned on him. In my eyes, it was truly one of those last moments in modern WWE where the audience were left to eat out of the palms of the performer’s hands.
This was Mark Henry’s finest performance by far.
