The Cruiserweight Classic tournament saw wrestlers from all ends of the globe compete to win the first-ever Cruiserweight Classic tournament. Brazillian wrestler Zumbi wasn’t able to make it due to visa issues and WWE had Mustafa Ali as a backup. He had a first-round match at the CWC where he lost in a good effort.
However, his efforts seemed impressive enough that WWE called him back. Soon after the tournamnet, he had signed with WWE and his time had finally come. It was only the beginning for Ali.
