Bray Wyatt’s career has seen a lot of ups and a lot of downs. Unfortunately for fans, it’s been the downs that have been far more noticeable. Being a Bray Wyatt fan can be one of the most frustrating things, because any time it feels like he has a lot of momentum and is set for bigger things, the rug is pulled from underneath him.

Not winning the big one has been the key part that’s hindered his career throughout, and this is despite the fact that he’s actually been more protected than people realize. There was no time he was more protected than during his run on SmackDown Live, but even then, it wasn’t on a weekly basis that he was getting pinned, it was when it most mattered.

This has severely affected his momentum, but even then, he’s managed to captivate audiences from across the world. He’s had his fair share of great moments and here are the five best ones.

#5.) An impactful debut

When the Wyatt Family debuted after a few vignettes, they went right after WWE legend Kane. He was a great target to go after and alongside Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, Wyatt instantly established himself as a threat. It was a good debut for The Eater Of Worlds and even after he debuted, he went back to NXT for one last segment.

The Full Sail crowd loved Wyatt and you would think that he was the biggest babyface ever. He said his farewell to the yellow brand and officially began on the main roster. It wasn’t just Kane that he and the Wyatt family would go after, it was various superstars on the roster.

He established himself as a cult leader-type character and that instantly made him far more interesting than his previous persona, Husky Harris.

#4.) Being drafted to SmackDown Live

When Bray Wyatt was drafted to SmackDown Live, fans knew that it was the right call. Pre-draft, Wyatt suffered from the fact that there were more stars that WWE preferred to push. Being separated on SmackDown Live meant that he had more of an opportunity to become a bigger star.

And that’s exactly what happened. A week after the draft, he lost to Dolph Ziggler, and from that point up until WrestleMania, Wyatt hadn’t been pinned even once. It was a great push and although they didn’t emphasize on the fact that he was on a hot streak,  it worked out well organically and Wyatt started becoming one of the hottest stars on the roster.

#3.) Supremacy of factions

There have been many times where the crowd can’t decide who they want to cheer for and they’re split right down the middle. This is exactly what happened at Elimination Chamber 2014 when The Shield challenged The Wyatt Family. There were no titles on the line and it was a match to determine faction supremacy.

Frankly, it should have been at WrestleMania, but either way, it worked out well for both teams.  It was a rare heel vs heel match and it was chaotic from bell to bell. Ultimately, The Wyatt family walked out with the victory and on the night, were the superior faction.

#2.) Winning the SmackDown Tag Team titles

Randy Orton & Bray Wyatt had begun teaming up in what seemed like one of the most interesting pairings in a long time.  The storyline was by and far the best one in WWE at the time and they took Heath Slater and Rhyno for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. They won the match, which turned out to be Wyatt’s first taste of gold in WWE.

Although they lost the titles less than a month later, it proved as a useful prop in their storyline and further drove interest. Turns out, there were much bigger plans for both superstars.

#1.) Winning the WWE Championship

When Bray Wyatt walked into the Elimination Chamber, he stared down at the other three superstars in their pods and the look in his eyes was one of exuding confidence. It was clear then that it was going to be Wyatt’s night. He was in a star-studded Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship and he even eliminated John Cena, who was defending the title at the time.

He had to face AJ Styles as his final obstacle to the gold. Styles was the man who held the title just 14 days prior. Wyatt had won and the crowd erupted in cheers. It was the most satisfying moment as a Bray Wyatt fan. If you ignore the fact that they didn’t capitalize on it, it certainly makes for a greater moment.
