#4.) Finn Balor actually beating Drew McIntyre
The sad reality is that Finn Balor hasn’t been in a meaningful storyline since his feud with Seth Rollins back when he debuted in 2016. Since his return post-WrestleMania 33, Balor has constantly found himself in lackluster feuds and this Sunday, he faces The Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre.
Until the 3rd December 2018 episode of RAW, McIntyre hadn’t suffered a pinfall defeat since his main roster return. He’s been on a tear and is clearly being positioned as a future top star on the red brand. He avenged his only pinfall loss in a year this week and is the clear favorite against Balor.
No one is really expecting Balor to win, but if he does, it’ll be quite a shock – the pleasant kind. It’ll also help Balor gain some steam as a babyface heading into 2019.
