#2.) Randy Orton vs John Cena – TLC 2013
The match was hyped as a big deal. It was the two biggest stars in the company, each holding a world title. They were set to unify the titles in a TLC match, with the winner becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion. That all sounds good on paper, especially if you ignore the fact that fans really didn’t have much interest in the match.
Orton vs Cena had been done to death and the prospect of them main eventing another PPV wasn’t particularly exciting. On top of that, fans were hot for Daniel Bryan and desired to see him in the main event scene instead. The match didn’t get too much of a reaction.
