#1.) A not so pleasant WWE departure
You probably know the story of the WWE ECW PPV December To Dismember, the one that’s considered by many as the worst PPV in WWE history. The creative differences between Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman came to a head, as Heyman felt that CM Punk should have eliminated The Big Show to push him more (The Big Show reportedly agreed as well). Instead, Punk was eliminated first and the overall failure of the PPV led to a disappointed Heyman parting ways with the WWE.
It’s clear that his vision of ECW was different and unfortunately, it didn’t end too well for him. He did return years later, this time around with only an on-screen role, managing CM Punk, and Brock Lesnar.
