Given that they wound up becoming competitors and even on-screen rivals, it may surprise many to find out that Vince McMahon was the reason why Paul Heyman chose to get into the pro wrestling business. At the age of 13 after seeing Vince McMahon interview Superstar Billy Graham, he decided that it was the career path he wanted to choose.
He would then go on to eventually establish his own newsletter while also working as a photographer. It was his job as a photographer that led him to get access to arenas and building relationships with people in the business. He even admitted to having snuck into production meetings!
