#3.) ECW One Night Stand 2005
This promo was awesome from start to finish. Heyman wasn’t a man who was humble and just wanted to say thanks. He began right off the bat by shooting on various stars on the main roster. He first took a shot at Eric Bischoff and WCW, before focusing on Edge (context: the timeline was when the story of Edge, Lita and Matt Hardy had come out), telling people to “hide their wives”, as the crowd chanted for Matt Hardy. He then told Edge he had two words for him: “Matt-freaking-Hardy!”.
Finally, he set his sights to JBL, who had seemed to be in his own world. In an amazing line, he told him “You want to shoot Cowboy? The only reason you were WWE Champion for so long was because Triple H didn’t want to work Tuesday nights”. You could see that Heyman was in his element and had a whole lot of fun cutting a free promo.
