It’s a shame that Paul Heyman hasn’t spoken for Lesnar during the build to any of his UFC bouts because he could do a fantastic job promoting it. When Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker were set to go head-on in a blockbuster main event at SummerSlam, Paul Heyman cut an intense promo.
He spoke about how after the ending of the streak nearly a year and a half prior, Undertaker was forced to stay in the hospital for a week and took a year off, begging Vince McMahon to give him his rematch (only for his request to be declined). He put over The Undertaker while simultaneously hyping Lesnar up more. It’s a skill that very few have, but Heyman certainly possesses it.
