#3.) AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose – TLC 2016
AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose had one of the best feuds of 2016, with Styles having beaten Ambrose for the WWE Championship. Their feud made SmackDown Live the best wrestling show to watch on TV (along with great booking and storylines overall). While Styles had gotten the better of Ambrose, their feud was set to culminate at TLC in a TLC match.
They had an incredibly intense bout, with Styles, in particular, going the extra mile to try and retain his title. In the end, it was James Ellsworth of all people who turned on Ambrose, pushing him off the ladder when he was about to win. This allowed Styles to climb the ladder and grab the title, retaining in one of the best TLC matches of all time.
