Becky Lynch was a natural babyface and despite not being pushed as heavily as the other four horsewomen, she held a special place in the hearts of fans. The reason fans were angry about her heel turn was simply that they weren’t ready to boo her and it reflected in the reactions she got.
She only got cheered before and WWE seemed to acknowledge that as well. She stated herself that she was ready to go on without the fans but was surprised when they came along with her. The crowd support she received has been instrumental in her successful 2018.
