Daniel Bryan faced Brock Lesnar in another last-minute change. However, it was a welcome dream match and fans most certainly weren’t disappointed. Like the year before, Brock Lesnar proved that when he wants to, he can have a great match. He sold like death for Bryan and the new heel side of Daniel Bryan played a huge difference maker.
Bryan told an incredible story in the match and sold for Lesnar for the majority of it. He came extremely close to victory, so close that fans were certain that the WWE Champion would win. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be, but he put on an unforgettable performance in what was an instant classic.
