#1.) vs Awesome Kong – Final Resolution 2008
When talking about a match that inspired women, don’t look any further. The bout between Kim and Awesome Kong at Final Resolution may not be talked about as much as it should be, but in every sense of the word, it was a match ahead of its time. Even the build-up was outstanding, with TNA doing a great job hyping it up to give it a big fight feel. Kong and Kim were hyped as the two biggest stars of the division and they definitely were.
The stakes were even higher as it was a No DQ match, The match started outside the ring and Kong assaulted the referee as well. More than a match, this can best be described as a war. It’s a true testament to the talent of the women, who put their bodies on the line and took a lot of punishment for our entertainment.
