Chris Jericho was CM Punk’s WrestleMania 28 WWE title challenger. It was an exciting feud that saw Jericho bring out a whole new side of himself. Jericho has always had a certain edge as a heel, but during this feud, he brought out a new level of nastiness that he had never shown before.
Their feud continued even after WrestleMania, taking an even darker turn. It was then that Jericho brought up Punk’s dark family history of alcoholism (which was legitimate). He even tried to get CM Punk to drink but after a war at Extreme Rules, Punk walked out with the WWE Championship and a huge weight off his shoulders.
