#4.) ECW World Championship
The circumstances of Morrison’s first WWE World title win was quite an unfortunate one. Chris Benoit was originally scheduled to compete for the vacant ECW World Championship in a match against CM Punk. Unfortunately, it was during this very period that the tragic Chris Benoit murder-suicide incident took place, and WWE put Morrison in his place.
Either way, at Vengeance: Night Of Champions, Morrison put on a stellar performance against the up-and-coming CM Punk to capture the ECW World Championship. He would have a good feud with Punk following this and the latter finally managed to capture the title from Morrison. Either way, it was a good notch on his belt.
