#5.) vs Prince Puma vs Big Ryck – Lucha Underground S01E07
It was the early days of Lucha Underground and right off the bat, they presented fans with a unique presentation of a wrestling show. The biggest match in the early stages was a ladder match between Big Ryck (Ezekiel Jackson), Prince Puma (Ricochet) and Johnny Mundo, with the winner grabbing a briefcase and earning a $100,000!
The dynamic of the match was incredible as Mundo and Puma played the high-flying athletic stars performing all the big spots while Ryck was the powerhouse, so big that he wasn’t even sure he’d be able to climb the ladder! He had his crew with him throughout the match to try to grab the briefcase, which essentially made it a 5-way.
Puma perhaps took the biggest punishment of them all, practically getting ragdolled and sent through a ladder, breaking it in half. It looked like Ryck’s cronies were about to help him win (a third masked man joined in too!), but Mundo’s quickness and agility helped him snatch the briefcase on time and win the $100,000
