#4.) Beating Drew Galloway at Slammiversary 2016
Drew Galloway scratched and clawed after his WWE release in 2014 and found himself successful outside. He had great success in Impact Wrestling, where he became world champion. He would face Lashley in a high-profile main event at Slammiversary in what was dubbed as a “Tap Out or Knock Out” match.
Impact did a great job in building this and making it look like a real heavyweight fight. The two gave everything they had and they certainly deserved a better audience, who didn’t react much to their fantastic match. Lashley dethroned Galloway to become a 3-time World Champion. It was perhaps his peak in Impact Wrestling as he was on an absolute tear as a heel world champion.
